Judge Griffith received his B.S. in 1981 from the University of South Carolina and later received his J.D. in 1988 from USC. From 1988-2011, he was in private practice in Aiken County until his appointment to the bench. He has served as Municipal Judge for the Town of Wagener and as the municipal attorney for the town of Jackson and the city of New Ellenton.
