The annual Pacers and Polo event, a standout feature of Aiken's Triple Crown now entering its 19th year, is undergoing exciting changes in organization and management.
In collaboration with USCA, the Aiken Polo Club will assume responsibility for orchestrating the Pacers and Polo event. Building on 18 successful matches, this transition solidifies the event's standing as the Third Leg of Aiken's Triple Crown.
The Aiken Polo Club will manage the event, overseeing the sale of reserved rail side tickets, pavilion tickets (offering an all-inclusive viewing experience), and general admission tickets. An exciting addition is the introduction of a new venue at Whitney Polo Field, promising a distinctive experience for all attendees.
A portion of the event proceeds will be shared with the university's Athletic Department and the equestrian programs, reinforcing the strong bond between the two organizations and their shared commitment to sports excellence and community engagement.
This year's event is scheduled for March 30. Gates will open at 10:30 a.m., and the festivities will kick off at 1 p.m. Attendees can anticipate an opening ceremony, six 7-minute chukkers, a 20-minute intermission, and an awards ceremony to conclude the match.
